MEIXNER was founded in Vienna in 1939 by Civil Engineer Dr. Erich Meixner. The long tradition of technical and commercial expertise of the family business MEIXNER is also evidenced by the diploma issued on August 1, 1888, to Franz Meixner, the grandfather of the current managing director, Dr. Harald Meixner, which was only recently discovered in its original form.

Decades of experience gained from national and international projects have made MEIXNER one of the leading geodesy companies. This has also made the company a sought-after partner for international collaborations and development aid organizations such as the World Bank and the European Commission.
